With an impressive 27 years of experience in Human Resources, Sallie Hansen has brought her expertise across multiple industries, including Mortgage & Banking, Finance, Children Services, the Catalina Island Conservancy, and Real Estate. As a true HR generalist, Sallie’s knowledge spans HRIS, employee relations, benefits, and payroll, making her a well-rounded and invaluable asset to our team.Sallie’s passion lies in fostering a strong company culture and creating environments where employees can thrive. She has led impactful initiatives like developing bullying prevention programs and self-defense training for kids in partnership with the LA County Sheriff’s Office, and she has served as a speaker at National Gang Prevention Conferences. Her leadership and commitment to making a difference have left a lasting impact on the communities she’s served.A proud mom, Sallie’s daughter is a shining example of her values. After earning her master’s degree in creative writing, Sallie’s daughter now lives in South Korea, where she works as both a teacher and a writer. Sallie credits her daughter’s incredible achievements to their close bond and the strength they’ve built together as a family.Sallie has also called Catalina Island home, where she lived for eight wonderful years with her daughter. During that time, she served as Director of HR for the Catalina Island Conservancy and contributed to the community in meaningful ways.Outside of work, Sallie enjoys staying active with workouts, long beach rides, hiking, and water sports.
