Brett Valin
Financial Planning Analyst
Nationwide is proud to spotlight Brett Valin from our Finance team. Brett has been with Nationwide for about five months and has enjoyed getting to know the senior leadership team as well as leaders from other departments. From his very first phone call with HR, he recognized the company’s culture-first approach and the way Nationwide truly takes care of its people. Coming from a background in corporate finance, Brett sees Nationwide as a big step up culturally.
Brett earned his master’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois. While in college, he also competed in gymnastics at the national level. This passion continues today, as he attends the NCAA Championships every April. Brett lives in Detroit with his girlfriend Mya and their two cats. Outside of work, they enjoy traveling on weekends, exploring new restaurants, and going to the gym.
