We are delighted to spotlight Stephanie Shafer!
Stephanie pursued her studies at Franklin University as well as The Ohio State University, concentrating in Business Management.
Stephnanie joined NPAS with over 23 years of experience in the industry. She spent 6 years in the banking industry with the Community Bankers Association of Ohio getting to know many community banks. During that time, she was part of the Education Committee with a focus on developing CE courses for lenders. Stephanie also spearheaded the Annual Convention successfully bringing in hundreds of lenders and growing attendance year over year. As Vice President of Operations, she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and office staff. She worked closely with associate members to ensure they were bringing the best products and services to the members representing the buying power of an association.
Then, Stephanie joined Southwest Financial Services as a Regional Sales Manager offering Flood, Title and Appraisal Services to Community Banks and many Regional Banks. In 15 years, she grew her book of business to include many of the top 25 banks (based on asset size) in the nation, including many community banks and credit unions. During her time at SFS, they successfully launched one of the first AVM programs and Lien Protection Programs. In 2016, SFS was acquired by Solidifi where she continued to grow her client base to include both new business and cross-sales into other channels within her accounts including default/loss mitigation and mortgage/servicing channels. She ended her time at Solidifi as Vice President National Accounts.
Reflecting on her new role, Stephanie expresses her enthusiasm, stating, "I am excited to join NPAS to expand our home equity channel with an array of USPAP compliant desktop appraisal solutions, saving lenders both precious time and money. I will be connecting with banking and credit union organizations at the state and national level. Additionally, I will be offering the full suite of valuation products to all lending channels, helping to grow our current customer base."
